The abundance of snow proved an unexpected but exciting learning opportunity for Little Elvers. The children quickly turned their usual mud pies into snow pies, built snow castles, had a go at throwing snow balls at their chosen numbers on our hundred square and onto the roof, practicing those much needed gross motor skills. In all this fun our children showed what great friends they are, helping each other find gloves and scarves to stay warm.
