The abundance of snow proved an unexpected but exciting learning opportunity for Little Elvers.
On Thursday 1st February, the children entered the assembly hall and were astonished to find a crashed rocket in the centre of it. Our Enabling Enterprise friends, asked for our help to establish a new society on a new planet, Utopia!
On Wednesday 7th February we invited the parents into class to share our maths learning. The children showed the parents how we learn maths and the resources they use to help solve problems.
On Friday 26th January, Mrs Parker took a group of our Year 3 children to Witchford Village College to take part in a gymnastics competition.
On Wednesday 1st November, student from Ely College came to support our Year 3 with cross country running.
On May 24th, Caterpillar Class visited the Civil Service in Cambridge as part of their Enabling Enterprise work based project. They had a great time.
The children were immersed in the arts during the last week before our half term break and had a fantastic time.
On Tuesday 28th March, a group of our Year 2 children took part in our first Ely Schools' Music Festival.
On Thursday 2nd March, we had characters from story books come alive as part of our World Book Day celebrations.
